* Non-Field Elective Courses are offered by our University's Common and Elective Courses Unit. Among the courses announced by the relevant unit, students are required to take a course not opened by their department.

** When students complete this semester, they should determine their area of interest in order to specialize and submit it to the department head through the advisor. In our department program, elective courses are gathered in three main modules: Module 1: Urban Planning and Urban Policies, Module 2: Regional Planning Local Development Environmental Policies and Module 3: Urban Design, in a way to support students to specialize in the fields they are interested in.

*** 1 elective course with the code of SBP 3… must be taken.

**** Vocational / Non-technical elective courses can also be taken from other departments within the Faculty.

***** A total of 11 elective courses, SBP 4… and CRP 4…, must be taken. Since the language of the program is 30% English, at least 2 of the 11 courses must be CRP 4… coded courses. The student must complete at least eight courses from the module he has chosen, and at least one elective course from other modules, in line with the area of specialization he has determined.
